WWE announces WrestleMania kick-off event in todays Wrestling news
The WWE social media platforms and Peacock will be streaming the fan event live.
WWE holds a kickoff in Philadelphia before WrestleMania.
On SmackDown, it was announced that a WrestleMania fan event to kick off WrestleMania will be held next Friday (5 April). The event will feature wrestlers announcing their WrestleMania match.
The appearance of Paul “Triple H’ Levesque”, Michael Cole, Pat McAfee, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Gunther, and Sami Zayn is advertised.
The kickoff is held outside the Wells Fargo Center. It is free to attend. The event begins at 5 pm Eastern time. It will be streamed live on Peacock as well as WWE’s social media platforms.
The kickoff event will be hosted by Cole and McAfee.
The Wells Fargo Center will host both SmackDown as well as the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony on April 5. Lincoln Financial Field will host WrestleMania on April 6 and 7.
Last night, it was announced that Cole, McAfee CM Punk Big E Jackie Redmond Wade Barrett would host WWE’s Countdown to WrestleMania Pre-Shows leading up to both nights of WrestleMania. The pre-show broadcasts are scheduled to air between 5-7 p.m. Eastern Time on April 6 and 7.
Each night of WrestleMania begins at 7 p.m. Eastern.
