Ace Austin explains his decision to re-sign with TNA Wrestling in todays Wrestling news
The 27-year old has his sights set on the TNA World title.
Ace Austin, a former three-time X-Division champion and two-time TNA Tag Team champion, has re-signed for TNA Wrestling. The company announced this officially on Thursday.
The 27-year old revealed the news in our recent interview, which you can watch now on YouTube. He explained that the freedom TNA gives him to pursue other ventures or work with other companies affected his decision to resign.
He also said that he had “unfinished business”: the TNA World Championship.
“I definitely want to stay with TNA, because TNA gives you freedom that is not available anywhere else. If I stay with TNA my options are still wide open. TNA is open to any working relationship and I love that. Since I started, the freedom has been a huge selling point for me. “I am actively pursuing some acting and stunt projects in this year. It’s an area that I want to experience. TNA is the only place where I can do this effectively.”
“Not only that, but it’s not over yet. I am a two-time Tag Team and three-time X-Division Champion. It’s one more missing, and it would mean a lot to complete this collection. “When there is an opportunity, you must reach the top before you can move on to the next peak. I am still climbing.”
