Dustin Rhodes will be in action on Friday, March 29, edition of AEW Rampage.
The Butcher will face Rhodes on Friday’s Rampage, a match that was set up by a backstage exchange between the two during Wednesday’s Dynamite.
Butcher interrupted a segment of an interview with Rhodes and Renee Paquette. He brought up a Bunkhouse match the two had a few years ago before issuing a Rampage challenge. Rhodes accepted the challenge, stating that he was not a stepping-stone for anyone at this stage of his career.
Rhodes & QT Marshall defeated The Butcher & The Blade on November 11, 2020 Dynamite in a Tag Team Bunkhouse Match. Rhodes & Marshall won the bout.
Rhodes is 3-0 in AEW competition for 2024. His only loss was in a TNT tie match against Christian Cage at the January 17 Dynamite.
Rampage will return to its regular Friday, 10 pm Eastern time slot this week on TNT after airing on TBS last week following Dynamite.
