Dynasty PPV now available on YouTube in todays Wrestling news
AEW continues to expand the number of places where fans can purchase pay-per view events.
AEW added YouTube to its list of ways fans can purchase Dynasty next month.
The move comes just a day after Triller, the former FITE, made Dynasty and B/R Live available to U.S. buyers. This move will continue through June’s Forbidden Door.
The new methods are noteworthy as B/R Live used to be the only option for U.S. streamers to purchase AEW PPVs. The Warner Bros. Discovery brand is AEW’s domestic TV partner in a deal which expires later this year. The renewal of these rights has been a hot-button topic, particularly in terms of how the PPVs would be packaged or not packaged as part of that deal.
During the March Revolution, fans publicly complained about technical problems on B/R Live which forced them to miss parts of the first hour. Triller made the PPV available to U.S. buyers about an hour after the main event started. Triller is AEW’s international streaming partner, offering both PPVs as well as the AEW Plus subscription service.
No bundle options are available in the U.S., regardless of where you purchase it.
AEW, as of this writing has not responded to a request for comments on the rationale behind the changes.
