Alex Coughlin, NJPW, says he is retired in todays Wrestling news

Coughlin joined NJPW in 2018.

Alex Coughlin has retired.

The NJPW star announced on X Saturday that he had retired and said it “sucks”.

“Yeah, I’m retired now and it stinks. Leave me alone,” he wrote. “Actually, I still have some merchandising and gear to sell so don’t go just yet.”

Coughlin is a 30-year-old member of Bullet Club War Dogs. He is also a former NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team champion with Gabe Kidd. His last match in NJPW was on February 11 when he and the War Dogs team won a cage match against Will Ospreay, the United Empire, and the rest. This was Ospreay’s final match in NJPW.

He began his wrestling career for New York Wrestling Connection in 2018. Later that year, he joined NJPW and began training as an apprentice lion. In 2021, he graduated from this career phase and began wrestling as The Android. In June last year, he joined Bullet Club with Gabe Kidd and won the Strong Tag Team title from Hirooki Goto & YOSHI HASHI. They lost their titles to the Guerrillas of Destiny later that year.
