Becky Lynch says she and Charlotte Flair are on good terms in todays Wrestling news
Lynch spoke about her friendship with Charlotte.
After a rift in their friendship, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair are now on good terms.
This fallout led to Lynch and Charlotte having a real backstage fight after a SmackDown title swap segment in October 2021. Lynch and Charlotte haven’t fought one-on-one in November of that same year, but they worked together as teammates again at Survivor Series last November.
During her appearance on the Cheap heat podcast to promote her forthcoming memoir, Lynch stated that she “absolutely,” addressed her friendship with Charlotte and wrote about their ups and downs.
Lynch replied when asked about the current relationship between Charlotte and Lynch, and how she was working with Charlotte again in WWE:
I think that’s good. I think I’m fair. I think it’s fair that I try to give her perspective. I don’t believe it’s fair to bury someone in a book. Especially in a subjective world, where they don’t get to defend themselves. So I talk about the fallouts we had, but I tried to paint them from both her and my perspective.
It was easy to work together because I believe that love is the undercurrent in all of this, including the fallouts. You are more upset if someone hurts you if they have loved you or adored you than a stranger. Charlotte is the same way. We were best friends. We were like sisters. We had a fight, we fought, we got back together and then there was that infamous fallout over the titles. But I know that throughout all of this, if she needed anything at any time, I would be there to help her. I’m sure she would be there if I needed anything. And I think this is the most important thing. I believe that life is too short for us to hold onto these animosities. If you hold on to them for too long, I think they will weigh you down.
There’s no point to it. We’ve lost a few people in the past year, in the past few years. It reminds us how precious life is and how unique this thing we’re doing really is. We can have disagreements. We can have these conflicts and rivalries. And we can’t always see eye-to-eye in business. But at the end, you need to remind yourself of what’s really important.
Lynch said WWE will always have the option to face Charlotte again. It’s a good thing. Lynch believes that fans would be eager to see what happens since it has been so long.

Charlotte tore her MCL, ACL, and meniscus in December 2023 on SmackDown. She had knee surgery in January. WWE announced that Charlotte would be out of the game for nine months after her injury.
Next Tuesday (March 26), Lynch’s autobiography, “Becky Lynch : The Man : Not Your average average girl”, will be released. Soon after, Lynch will face Rhea Ripley in a battle for the Women’s World Championships at WrestleMania.
