Perry wants to clarify the situation surrounding All In.

Jack Perry denies that he apologized repeatedly or asked forgiveness in the months that followed his fight with CMPunk on the backstage of AEW All In last August, or that AEW is planning a return.

Perry said he did not hear from Tony Khan, the head of AEW, for two months after All In at London’s Wembley Stadium. Perry claimed he did not send a text to apologize and told Khan’s attorneys he would never initiate contact. Khan set up a meeting in person with Full Gear in Los Angeles to discuss plans to bring Khan back in December.

Those plans were abandoned after Punk returned at Survivor Series.

Perry, who wanted to work Wrestle kingdom but was unable to due to logistical issues, worked with Rocky Romero, and Khan, to set up his NJPW run.

Perry is still on AEW’s contract (he requested a release, but was denied), and there are no plans to bring Perry back. He hasn’t spoken to Khan for months, and hasn’t cleared up anything he did in the storyline of NJPW such as him tearing the AEW contracts or his use the term “scapegoat.”
