Adam Copeland wins TNT title over Christian Cage on AEW Dynamite in todays Wrestling news

Adam Copeland has been named the new TNT Champion.
Copeland made Christian Cage declare ‘I Quit!’ in the main match of Wednesday’s Dynamite event in Toronto. Matt Menard and Daniel Garcia neutralized the rest of the Patriarchy towards the end of the match. Cage was placed in a corner and cuffed as Copeland used his prized weapon – a 2×4 barbed wire named Spike – to hit Cage. Cage quit after Copeland tried to hit him with Spike on the head. Copeland celebrated the end of Dynamite by receiving the TNT title.
This is Copeland’s second reign as champion. Copeland won the title at Worlds End, in December. After Killswitch knocked out Copeland Cage forced Killswitch into giving him the TNT title contract that Killswitch won earlier in the evening. Cage was able to restart the match, pin Copeland and regain the TNT title.
Copeland was trying to win enough matches in the weeks following Worlds End to earn a title match. After Cage and Patriarchy attacked Copeland in a match between Daniel Garcia and the number one contender, Copeland returned to chase Cage. Cage fled and drove away. After the altercation with Cage, Copeland challenged him to an I Quit match.
