Shida vs. Ellering: Women’s TV title semifinals to be held on ROH TV in todays Wrestling news
On Thursday, two semifinal matches will be shown.
ROH has announced a number of matches for the Thursday show on HonorClub.
Hikaru Shida, who is just weeks away from a title match against Athena in Supercard of Honor, will be in action this week. She will wrestle Rachael Elling in a singles match. Athena will wrestle on Thursday as well, but her opponent is yet to be revealed.
The tournament to determine first-ever women TV Champion will also continue. The show will feature semi-final matches between Queen Aminata and Red Velvet, and Mercedes Martinez vs. Billie Starkz.
Mina Shirakawa, who is a Stardom wrestler, will also make her ROH debut Thursday. She’ll be wrestling Anna Jay, who is also making her ROH debut.
The matches for this week’s show were taped on Saturday at The Canadian Tire Center, Ottawa and also at the TD Garden, Boston. Spoilers for the Ottawa show can be found here, while spoilers for Boston are located here.
