Roxanne Perez is finally going to get her NXT Women’s Championship Match.
NXT announced that Roxanne Perez will defend the title on April 6, in Philadelphia. Perez came out on Tuesday to demand the title shot she felt she deserved. Valkyria appeared and the two fought. Tatum Paxley’s unintentional distraction allowed Perez the opportunity to lock in a crossface against Valkyria. Ava granted the match to Valkyria after she demanded it backstage.
Perez has been carrying a chip in her shoulder for the past few weeks, especially after a match at NXT Vengeance Day that turned into a triple-header in February in which Valkyria pinned Lola Vice when she entered the match. Perez cemented the turn she had at Road Block when she injured her elbow by jumping Valkyria.
