Omega claimed to be a supporter of Cena in a recent Twitch broadcast.
Kenny Omega is full of praise for John Cena.
On a recent Twitch broadcast, the former AEW World Champion shared his thoughts about the multiple-time WWE Champion. He has never met Cena but he still has nothing but admiration for his work in the ring and off.
“I think he is great,” he said. “I think he is a great wrestler. He’s done a lot for the business. Cena didn’t do anything to achieve a trophy or recognition, but because he wanted to improve people’s lives. Whether it was through Make A Wish, autograph signings or fans in the arenas, Cena is a great example of what the face or face of a company should be. So I’m very much a fan of John Cena. I think he is incredible.”
Omega is currently recovering from diverticulitis and has set up a Twitch channel. John Cena finished his last run in the WWE last fall. He lost to Solo Sioka during Crown Jewel.
