The Infantry has reached the quarterfinals of the AEW Tag-Team tournament.
Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo surprised everyone on Saturday by defeating the House of Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews. Mark Briscoe who has been feuding against The House of Black hit Matthews with a steel chair as he went to the top rope. King chased Briscoe in the crowd, while Dean rolled Matthews on top of him for the victory.
The Infantry will face FTR in quarterfinals of Tag Team tournament after the win. The two teams traded words after last week’s Collision, before being officially named in the tournament at Friday’s Rampage.
Best Friends (Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta) will face Don Callis family members Kyle Fletcher & Powerhouse Hobbs in another wildcard match. The Undisputed Kingdom will be up next in the quarterfinals. The tournament finals will be decided on April 21 at AEW.
