Mick Foley not sure if he’ll have one final match in todays Wrestling news
Foley’s decision will be made by the start of 2025.
Mick Foley doesn’t know if he will play one more match.
Last month, the 58 year old Hardcore Legend revealed he was considering doing one last death match to celebrate his 60th birthday. Foley said that he was motivated to lose 100 pounds by the idea of a final match. Foley said that the match would not be held in WWE.
Foley provided an update on this possibility during a Highspots live autograph signing this week. Foley says he is feeling better and moving better but that his weight loss hasn’t yet been reflected on the scale. Foley said that he will know by 2025 if he is going to play the match.
Foley replied when asked if it was true that he would like to play one more match.
It’s true, but it’s going to be a lot of weight loss – and not as fast as I had hoped. So I will have to reexamine my position at a certain stage. It’s not all about the money. I want to enjoy a match, but am having difficulty. I’ve been exercising, I feel better and I’m moving better but it hasn’t shown up yet on the scale.
So I’m not certain. I’ll know by the start of the new year.
Foley had mentioned Matt Cardona or Jon Moxley as potential opponents for a death match. He told Highspots there are many options for his opponent.
Foley hasn’t wrestled in more than a decade, since he was a competitor at the 2012 WWE Royal Rumble. He was inducted into WWE Hall of Fame.
