Allin’s planned climb of Mount Everest has to wait until 2025.
Darby Alin has encountered a problem with his planned climb up Mount Everest.
Allin confirmed to TMZ Sports he had a broken foot during his match against Jay White on Wednesday at AEW. Allin broke three of the bones in his foot when he struck a senton from the top rope down to the floor on White.
Allin continued to play the match against White despite the injury. In a post-match angle, White, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn “injured”, Allin’s left ankle by Pillmanizing with a baseball batter. The angle was meant to remove Allin from AEW programming until he finished his climb of Mount Everest.
Allin tweeted the climb will have to wait until next. He first revealed his plans to climb Mount Everest 2024 in May 2023. Allin was to leave on March 27.
Allin wrote, “Unfortunately, the feet really broke during Wednesday’s match.” Everest will have to wait until next year.
Allin told TMZ Sports skateboarding icon Tony Hawk plans to perform a trick from his cast for charity next week.
Allin and Sting defeated The Young Bucks at Revolution earlier this month in Sting’s final match. Sting & Allin vacated AEW Tag team titles following the pay per view. AEW will hold a tournament in order to crown new champions.
