Tenille Dashwood updates on future in the ring in todays Wrestling news
Emma, the former wrestler, doesn’t believe she will ever completely step away from the sport.
Tenille Dashwood hasn’t stopped wrestling, even though she’s been released from WWE.
Dashwood, formerly known as Emma, and her husband Mike Rallis (Riddick Moss) were released by WWE in 2023. Since then, neither has competed. Their release was part of a series of roster cuts made after Endeavor purchased WWE.
Dashwood Rallis appeared together on Insight, where they were asked about their futures in the ring. Both Dashwood and Rallis said that they will be returning to the ring, despite their current focus on other pursuits. They have a commitment in Australia to do autograph signings and wrestle.
Dashwood said that she doesn’t think she will ever completely step away from the wrestling industry, but she has no plans to move forward in this industry.
Dashwood: Let me say that I was a bit disappointed and upset with the way things went in my last [WWE] run. I think I could have contributed more. I had high hopes when I came back, but it didn’t work out as I would have liked. We did, however, see it as positive. We were just not being used, so when we got released, we said, “Okay, let us go do the things that we want.” “And that’s been very exciting. So I think we’re focusing on this at this point. We have a tour in Australia coming up that we’ve committed to.
Moss: We’re wrestling again.
Dashwood: We’ll be doing some autograph signings, and we’ll also play a match. We are concentrating on our other activities for the time being. I guess I just can’t imagine myself ever stepping away from the sport of wrestling. Since I was a young girl, wrestling was my dream. It was the only thing that I wanted to do. And I’m glad I pursued it and have had the career that I have. It would be difficult for me to say that I’m finished with wrestling. In that same situation, I’m not actively pursuing anything, or have no plan for moving forward, either.
Rallis: I’d probably echo much of what she says. Like I said, I had a lot of fun wrestling and I met a lot of cool people. I love wrestling. After all, there are many other things that I love and want to pursue. When I was a professional football player, I would say that the only thing guaranteed about wrestling is that it will end. It’s a very physical sport, and I have taken my fair share with, you’ll know, achilles and ACL surgeries, and I even have a wonky-eye from too many concussions. The health is definitely something to consider. As much as I love wrestling, there is a political aspect of it that I don’t necessarily enjoy. All of these businesses we are doing have their own, I mean I feel like we are way busier than when we were with WWE. Anyone who has tried to do something on their own, whether it’s their own entrepreneurial venture or not, knows that there is a lot of hard work involved in the beginning. It’s stressful and exciting and fun. There’s something about being able to focus on yourself and not worry about who’s rubbing you the wrong way. “Am I standing in the right way to avoid angering the wrong person?” Or, “What does this person think of me?” It’s liberating. No drama.
Since their release from WWE, Dashwood & Rallis started a YouTube travel series called “Where To Next, Honey?”
Dashwood was previously released by WWE in 2017. Dashwood returned to WWE in 2022, after stints at ROH and Impact Wrestling.
Dashwood and Rallis got married in Hawaii on the 15th of this month, after announcing their engagement in June.
