Anthony Henry updates after broken jaw in todays Wrestling news

Henry revealed that he had suffered a fractured jaw during a Deadlock Pro Wrestling match over the weekend. He initially wrote that the injury would require surgery, but posted an updated on Wednesday saying that this is no longer true.
Henry wrote:
Update: No surgery is required, but I will still need to have a procedure for rubber brackets to reset my jaw. Recovery time: eight weeks See you then!
Henry announced the day after his injury that he and JD Drake would no longer be able participate in the upcoming tournament for determining the new AEW Tag Team Champion.
Henry wrote “Absolutely gutted” on Monday. “In the match last night against Bryan Keith, a knee strike broke my jaw. The #workhorsemen were preparing for some exciting events. We can no longer be part of the @AEW tag-team tournament. “I will have surgery shortly.”
“I don’t really know how I will handle this,” he said. “I’ve never experienced an injury like this. I don’t even know what I would do without wrestling. My biggest fear is that this injury will ruin any future plans [JD] Drake or I have. I may not be around for a little while. I’m grateful to all the fans that support us!”
Henry and Drake have been working primarily on ROH in recent years, but they have made some notable appearances on AEW programs. They wrestled Sting and Darby Allen on the January 6, episode of Collision. Henry also wrestled Eddie Kingston in ROH Final Battle 2023.
