WWE NXT announces more matches for the next season, including Tatum Paxley vs. Roxanne Perez in todays Wrestling news
On the episode of March 19, the Heritage Cup will be defended.
WWE NXT’s Tuesday, March 19, edition will feature four official matches.
Perez’s heel-turn continued in this week’s NXT, as she demanded that she be crowned NXT Women’s champion, a title which she had never lost. NXT’s GM Ava stated that the promotion is still waiting for a medical clearance to determine if Women’s Championship Lyra Valkyria will be stripped of her title following Perez’s attack on Valkyria.
Tatum Paxley, Valkyria’s ally, attacked Perez in the ring during a promo segment this week to set up next week’s match.
A member of the No Quarter Catch Crew is also announced to defend the NXT Heritage Cup on March 19 against Riley Osborne. The Cup can be defended by any member of the Crew: Charlie Demspey (Charlie Demspey), Drew Gulak (Myles Borne), Dams Kemp (Dames Kemp), or Myles Borne.
Next week’s show will also feature two qualifying matches for the April 2, NXT Tag Team Title number one contender’s Match.
In one qualifying bout, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will face Tank Ledger and Hank Walker. Axiom and Nathan Frazer will then face two members of the No Quarter Catch Crew.
The winners of the next week’s qualifying matches will join LWO’s Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro for the April 2 number-one contenders match. The winners will then advance to Stand & Deliver, where they will face Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin on April 6 to compete for the NXT Tag Team Titles.
Noam Dar vs. A Trick Williams match has also been teased for the episode of March 19, but it has not yet been made official.
