The Rock and John Cena will present awards at the Oscars 2024 in todays Wrestling news
The Oscars had a wrestling presence on Sunday.
On Sunday, pro wrestling was a part of the Academy Awards.
John Cena presented awards, as did The Rock and Bad Bunny. Cena, who first appeared in a Jimmy Kimmel skit, was the first. Kimmel, who had previously spoken about a streaker interrupting the Academy Awards, encouraged Cena by saying that he should do the same. Cena balked at the idea last minute, and wore nothing but the Oscars envelope for the award for Best Costume Design. Cena wore a toga when he announced the winner, Poor things.
Cena was shown briefly shaking The Rock’s hand as he left. The Rock then presented the award for Best International Feature Film to Bad Bunny. This award was given to The Zone of Interest.
The Rock returned to WWE TV recently, joining Roman Reigns in The Bloodline. The Rock confirmed on this past Friday’s SmackDown that he and Reigns will team up to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on the first night of WrestleMania.
