Joe Hendry is set to face Crazzy Steve in the Digital Media title.
TNA Wrestling had to change one of the matches scheduled for tonight’s event, Sacrifice.
TNA announced today that the Digital Media Championship match between Crazzy Steven and Laredo Kid, which was originally planned for the pre-show of Sacrifice, will no longer take place. Laredo Kid will not be competing in Sacrifice because of travel issues. Joe Hendry, in his place will be challenging Crazzy Steven’s title.
TNA announced that “Laredo kid is unable compete at Sacrifice because of travel issues.” “He was supposed to challenge Crazzy Steven for the Digital Media Championship at Countdown to Sacrifice, but Santino Marella put the longest-reigning Digital Media champion, Joe Hendry, against Crazzy.”
Since January, Crazzy Steve is the Digital Media Champion after beating Tommy Dreamer to the title.
The Countdown to the Sacrifice begins on Sunday, October 15 at 7:30 pm Eastern time. It will be streamed live for free via TNA+ and TNA YouTube. Mike Bailey & Trent Seven vs. The Rascalz will also be performing at the pre-show.
The main card of Sacrifice begins at 8 pm Eastern. The show will be broadcast on TNA+, TNA’s Ultimate Insiders service and TNA YouTube.
