Lex Luger claims WWE gave him permission to attend Sting’s final match in AEW Revolution.
Luger, Magnum TA and Nikita Koloff were all in attendance for the pay-per view on Sunday. Luger and DDP said that WWE had told them they could attend, but asked not to be shown on camera.
Luger: The crowd was amazing, they were so hot and lit up for the match. I was so excited. They brought us out to soak up the atmosphere.
DDP: Off-camera, off-camera. We didn’t really want to be on the camera, yeah.
Luger: WWE has class. They said that you can do anything, but don’t go on camera or be interviewed.
Kevin Nash, on his podcast, said that he had asked WWE if he could attend Sting’s last match.
Nash said
(Sting), asked me to take part in it. I said that due to my position with the company and with WWE, I could not be there.
