AEW Dynamite now includes Riho vs. Kris Statlander in todays Wrestling news
A new match was added for Wednesday.
Dynamite has announced a new singles match.
Tony Khan announced Tuesday that Kris Statlander would face Riho.
“After a huge win in Greensboro, former TBS Champion Kris Statlander will battle former @AEW Women’s World Champion Riho on Dynamite TOMORROW in Georgia!,” Khan wrote.
Statlander and Willow Nightingale defeated Julia Hart and Skye Blue at AEW’s Revolution Zero Hour on Sunday. Riho returned to AEW for the first time since February 24th, when she defeated Trish Adora.
Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher, two members of Don Callis’ family, are the only other matches announced for Wednesday. Tony Khan, at the AEW Revolution press scrum on Sunday, said that the match was in question because Ospreay sustained a back injury during his match against KonosukeTakeshita.
Here is the updated lineup for Wednesday’s Dynamite, which will feature a new logo and a new set:
- Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher
- Kris Statlander vs. Riho
