BJ Whitmer has been sentenced on charges relating to his arrest last year.

Whitmer was arrested and charged on June 4, 2023 with second-degree theft and first-degree strangulation. He is accused of entering a former girlfriend’s home, waiting for her return, then assaulting her.

“Mr. The police report states that Whitmer “grabbed her by the throat, threw her on the couch and began strangling” her. Later, the victim told media that she “fought for her life” in the assault.
