McMahon is set to receive more than 400 million dollars from the sale.
Vince McMahon, former executive chairman of TKO Group Holdings, is selling approximately 25 percent of the remaining stock in his company.
According to a SEC filing dated Monday, McMahon sells 5.35 million shares TKO stock through Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
McMahon will likely pocket more than 400 million dollars from the sale. TKO closed Monday’s trading at $81.67 per share.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Daily Update on Monday that McMahon would still own approximately 8.3 percent of TKO. Meltzer writes:
Vince McMahon sold 5,350,000 WWE shares today, which is approximately 6.5 percent of company, for $411,95 million. With the sale, he now holds 8.3 percent of the business.
The 5,35 million shares represent about 6.5 percent of TKO Group Holdings’ shares.
McMahon sold another 8.4 million shares valued at $700 million in November last year.
McMahon quit as executive chairman of TKO after a former WWE employee accused him of sex-trafficking and sexual assault.
