The Bloodline has issued a WrestleMania challenge.
The Bloodline has challenged Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins to a tag-team match on the first night of WWE WrestleMania 40.
The Rock, in a lengthy promo segment on Friday’s SmackDown presented a challenge to Rhodes & Rollins, with a stipulation: If The Rock & Reigns won the tag-team match, Rhodes vs. Reigns on night two of WrestleMania would be a Bloodline Rules match where anything is allowed, and the group will stack the deck against Rhodes. The Bloodline would be banned from the building if Rollins and Rhodes won.
The Rock challenged Rhodes to answer the challenge at next Friday’s SmackDown. The Rock will appear on the next SmackDown episodes, Friday, March 8, in Dallas, as well as Friday, march 15, in Memphis. Rhodes was also advertised for these episodes.
Rollins will defend his World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania against Elimination Chamber winner Drew McIntyre. This match is also likely to be set for night two.
The Bloodline segment of this week’s SmackDown featured a tease of dissension, with Reigns smoldering while The Rock laid out his challenge and cut a promotional. Reigns insisted that The Rock acknowledge him as Tribal chief, which The Rock did.
