Revolution scramble qualifier for AEW collision announced in todays Wrestling news
A tag eight-man game is also planned for Saturday’s episode.
Two new bouts have been announced for Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision. One is a triple threat match that has implications for Revolution.
According to Wednesday’s Dynamite episode, Penta El Zero Miedo is set to face Dante Martin and Bryan Keith in a 3-way match on Saturday’s Collision. The winner will advance to the All-Star Scramble for a shot at the World title at Revolution.
The winner of the Saturday three-way will be joining the winner of Matt Sydal vs. CMLL Magnus in Friday’s Rampage, as well Chris Jericho and Powerhouse Hobbs. Lance Archer, Wardlow Hook, Brian Cage, and Lance Archer will also be participating in the All-Star Scramble, which is set to take place at Revolution on Sunday March 3.
Collision will also feature an eight-man tag, with Christian Cage and Roderick Strong teaming up against Orange Cassidy, Trent Beretta & Hook, while Daniel Garcia and Orange Cassidy will face each other. Christian will defend his TNT title at Revolution against Garcia, while Cassidy defends his International title at the pay-per view.
Collision has also announced promos featuring AEW Women’s World champion Toni Storm & Deonna Purrazzo, her Revolution title rival.
The Saturday Collision will be taped in Huntsville, Alabama on Wednesday night.
