Kevin Owens on Vince McMahon: ‘It is shameful and can never happen again’ in todays Wrestling news
Owens and Becky Lynch were interviewed by The Daily Mail.
Recently, several members of the WWE roster commented on the recent allegations against Vince McMahon.
Kevin Owens, former executive chairman of WWE and current WWE president, spoke to the Daily Mail ahead of Saturday’s Elimination chamber.
“Everything has come out is awful.” Owens said, “Just terrible.” “There are no words to describe the sadness I feel.”
“It’s awful if the people who spoke out went through that.” It’s a shame and it cannot happen again. “That’s what it all comes down to.”
Becky Lynch described the allegations in the article as “hard to reconcile”.
“I’ve always felt supported in my career by the company,” she said.
“These allegations are terrible and it’s difficult to reconcile both as a female and as a talent. My experience in WWE was always amazing.”
“Yes, at first, there were some restrictions; we couldn’t grab hair, punching was not allowed – there were some strange things there – but i was able push us forward, push the women forward and i’m very grateful for it. So this company… [right away] some of these issues are hard to reconcile.”
Randy Orton addressed the allegations made against McMahon during a recent interview he gave to The New York Post.
“I’ve read the horrible things on the internet that I don’t want to believe, because this man has done many things for me,” said he. “I wouldn’t have gotten second and third chances in WWE if it wasn’t him.” I wouldn’t be where I am now if that man wasn’t there.
“I want to believe it, but then I realize that he could’ve done all these wonderful and amazing things for me and my business and created an amazing thing that would continue long after he is gone. But on the other hand, he was human and made some f****** terrible mistakes.”
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Orton said that the situation “hurts” his heart.
John Cena, during a recent interview on The Howard Stern Show, was asked about the accusations against McMahon.
“There’s a saying that says you don’t really know who your friends until the s**t comes out or your back is against the wall. It doesn’t make anything easier to accept, but telling someone, “Hey, I love your.” is a good start. This is going to be a tough hill to climb. Cena said, “We’re going see what happens.
“It may sound cliche, but you have to take one day at a tim. I have said that I love him, and that I have a great friendship with him, so that is that.
