McIntyre has won the men’s Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia.
Drew McIntyre will face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania.
WrestleMania’s 40th anniversary is now official. Rollins will defend his World Heavyweight Championship to McIntyre. The two-night event will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, 6 April and Sunday, 7 April.
McIntyre’s victory in the men’s Elimination Chamber Match in Perth, Australia, on Saturday confirmed the title match. The six competitors were McIntyre (Rand Orton), Logan Paul, Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley.
Knight and McIntyre were the first two players to enter the match. McIntyre was the last man standing at the end. McIntyre gave Orton an RKO and Orton seemed to have the match in hand. However, Paul smashed Orton with brass knuckles and McIntyre pinched Orton for the win. Paul was furious after Orton eliminated him.
McIntyre eliminated Orton and Knight from the match. Orton eliminated Owens and Paul.
Knight’s elimination was the result of AJ Styles’ interference.
WWE originally planned to have Rollins vs. CM Punk for WrestleMania, but the plans changed after Punk tore his triceps.
Rollins appeared at Elimination chamber during a segment called the Grayson Waller Effect. Rollins announced he is “just days away from being cleared” to return to ring. He has been out of the ring since he suffered a partially torn Meniscus and a torn MCL while facing Jinder Mahal on Raw last month.

- WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY defends against Bayley
- Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley defends against Becky Lynch
- World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defends against Drew McIntyre
