Toru Yano will replace Tanahashi.
Hiroshi Takahashi will not be able to compete in Kazuchika OKada’s NJPW Farewell Match due to an ankle injury.
NJPW announced that Tanahashi, who suffered a right ankle injury, would not be able take part in Okada’s farewell 10-man match at The New Beginning in Sapporo on night two.
Toru Yano replaces Tanahashi in the Tag Match, which is now Okada vs. Great-O-Khan vs. Jeff Cobb & Francesco Akira vs. Callum Newman.
Tanahashi suffered the injury during his match against Riddle on Friday night, at The New Beginning in Sapporo.
NJPW’s statement:

Hiroshi Takahashi, who was due to wrestle in Sapporo today, has suffered an injury to his ankle. He will not be able to compete.
We apologize to the fans who were eager to see Tanahashi wrestle and appreciate your understanding.

Okada’s free agency will be officially declared after tonight’s NJPW show. His NJPW contract originally expired at the beginning of January. However, he agreed to perform three final dates with the company in this month.
