Triple H praises Rhea Ripley, saying there’s no ceiling on her WWE success in todays Wrestling news
Levesque believes Ripley has only scratched the surface of her talent.
Paul “Triple H Levesque” praised Rhea Ripley in a press interview for Elimination Chamber.
Levesque and Ripley were both on Allan & Carly, Hit WA radio, in advance of the premium live event on Saturday. Levesque was asked about Ripley’s performance on her media tour in Australia. Levesque said Ripley was a force in Australia and that there is no ceiling to her potential as a WWE superstar.
She’s a power of nature. It’s funny to see someone come along when you first see them. It’s my job…to look at talent to see if there’s anything there or not. Sometimes you get things right, and sometimes you get them wrong. To have someone come in and you think, “All the potential of the world.” The first time I saw this girl, I thought, “Wow, she is going to kill it.” I didn’t know, as good as I thought I was at predicting the future, that she would be as big as she is today.
Because, in my honest opinion – and I don’t want to embarrass or humiliate her while I talk about her – she’s only scratching the surface of stardom right now. This is where I think she can go. She just oozes stardom. From the moment she walks out. Certain people put it on, and then it comes off. It’s a moment. It’s who she is. It just comes out. There is no limit to the level she can reach as long as she works hard and wants to.
The hosts asked Ripley whether she blushed after Levesque’s praise.
Ripley replied, “A little bit.”
Levesque continued, “I also mean it.” “I’m saying it not because she is here. I would have said it if she weren’t here. It’s the truth. It’s just the truth. We can teach, help, and guide people, but her innate ability is the foundation. We just guide it, but it is all her.”
Ripley, 27, defends her Women’s World Championship at Elimination chamber against Nia Jax. The event will be broadcast live from Optus Stadium, Perth, Australia on Saturday (February 24). Peacock will begin streaming at 5 am Eastern time.
If Ripley wins at Elimination Chamber she will advance to WrestleMania as champion. Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Tiffany Stratton, Naomi, and Raquel Rodrigo will face off in an Elimination chamber match on Saturday for the Women’s World Championship Challenger at WrestleMania.
