The first biopic of Flair’s long career would be a biopic.

In the future, the story of Ric Flaair could be brought to the big screen.

The Wrap reported on Wednesday that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions was developing a project about the life of Flair. Johnson, Dany Garca and Hiram Garca will produce with Kevin Misher from Misher Films.

The team previously teamed together on 2019’s “Fighting With My Family”, a film based upon the life and family members of AEW Saraya. Paige was then in WWE.

Flair has not been named as directly involved in the incident and, as of this writing he is yet to make a public comment.

Johnson told The Wrap that the project had no timeline.

“As a child who grew up watching professional wrestling, ‘The Nature Boy,’ Ric Flair, was my idol. He was my hero. My reverence for Ric changed to respect once I started to work in the wrestling industry and started to sweat and shed my own blood. Ric Flair changed the wrestling industry, culture and game. I was amazed at how rare it is to do that. This project is very personal and we are eager to tell his incredible story. “As always, thank Ric for the house.”

As part of a multiyear deal with AEW and an energy drink affiliated, Flair has made only sporadic appearances alongside his friend, Sting. He is approaching his retirement match, which will take place in less than two week. Flair wrestled in his final match on July 20, 2022.

If the project is a feature-length film, it will be the first time Flair will be featured in a film.

A portrayal of Flair appeared in the film “The Iron Claw”, which was widely criticized by wrestling fans. Grayson Waller, a WWE wrestler, played Flair in episodes of Johnson’s now canceled “Young Rock”, NBC’s TV series.
