WWE NXT’s Tuesday show crowned new number one contenders.
WWE NXT Tag Team Champion The Wolf Dogs now have new contenders for their title.
Andre Chase & Duke Hudson of Chase U defeated Nathan Frazer & Axiom in Tuesday’s NXT episode to become the new number-one contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson attacked Chase, Hudson, Riley Osborne, and other Chase U members immediately after the victory. This set up a possible three-way Tag Team Title program. No date has yet been announced for the next Tag Team championship defense.
Last week’s live show saw Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin, of The Wolf Dogs, win the NXT Tag Titles by defeating Tony D’Angelo & Stacks. Breakker & Corbin won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, earning them the opportunity to compete for the title.
Breakker was announced last Friday as the newest SmackDown member, causing some to question how long the blue-chipper will remain on the NXT roster.
