The Bloodline was the reason for Cody Rhodes’ and Jey Uso’s defeats on Raw last night.
Rhodes suffered his first loss in a one-on-one match since May 2023. He faced Drew McIntyre in the opening match of last night’s show. Rhodes appeared to be on his way to victory when The Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa interfered. Rhodes initially managed to overcome Jimmy’s distraction. He had McIntyre positioned for Cross Rhodes but Sikoa appeared to drop Rhodes with a Samoan spike.
McIntyre followed with a Claymore, and Rhodes was pinned for the victory.
After the match, Rhodes and Seth Rollins interacted backstage. Although no words were exchanged, it seemed that Rhodes was acknowledging that Rollins had a point when he said that Rhodes needed backup to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. Rhodes and Rollins will be appearing together in a Grayson Waller Effect segment on Saturday at Elimination Chamber.
Jimmy Uso interfered and cost his twin brother Jey the match. Gunther was about to end his historic Intercontinental title reign when Jey Uso took on Gunther last night.
Jimmy laid Jey out at the end of Raw. He said that Jey will not win a singles championship without him.
