Michael Chandler went to another TKO division and called out the call.
Samantha Irvin, the announcer on Monday’s Raw show, introduced Chandler as an UFC lightweight. Chandler then issued a challenging to Conor McGregor.
Chandler said, “You are in front of the most entertaining UFC fight on the planet.” “There’s a man from Ireland who has been making me wait way too long, and there’s only one guy on my mind…Conor McGregor. Get your candy a** in the octagon.”
Dana White said recently that he “hoped for the fall” to see McGregor return. McGregor hasn’t fought in a UFC event since July 2021 when he lost his tibia to Dustin Poirier.
WWE held Raw at the Honda Center tonight in Anaheim, California. This was part of a five-year partnership with OCVIBE to hold UFC and WWE events at the arena until 2028. UFC 298 was held at the same venue on Saturday, with Ilia topuria winning the UFC featherweight championship by defeating Alexander Volkanovski.
