Dream hasn’t fought since 2020.

Velveteen Dream is back.

Dream made an appearance at a Dynasty tournament in Albany, New York, on Saturday. He interrupted the first match and issued a challenge. Dream’s challenge was accepted in the main event by American Muscle Alec Odin. Dream then defeated him.

Dream (real name Patrick Clark), had virtually disappeared from the pro wrestling scene after he was let go by WWE in May 2021. He last wrestled on the December 23, 2021 edition of NXT. He lost to Adam Cole.

Dream was accused of sending sexually explicit pictures to children underage online before his WWE release. Triple H responded to the accusations by saying that an investigation was done and no evidence was found.

Dream was arrested twice in August 2022, within a week. First on August 20, for first-degree assault and trespassing. Then six days later, on charges of drug paraphernalia. The battery and trespassing charge were later dropped.
