The episode of February 24 will feature Danielson vs. Akiyama.
The February 24 AEW collision will feature two Hall of Famers.
As announced on Friday’s Rampage, Bryan Danielson and Jun Akiyama will be facing off next week in Collision. Danielson was inducted in the WON Hall of Fame of Fame in 2016 while Akiyama is part of the Class of 2019.
The Danielson vs. Akiyama contest continues a series of singles competitions for Danielson that includes two WON Hall of Famers in Kazuchika OKada from Wrestle Kingdom 18 and Yuji Nakata on an episode of January Collision.
Danielson also faced off against seven-time WON Best Wrestler Award winner Zack Sabre Jr. during the NJPW The Beginning in Osaka last weekend.
Next week’s Collision episode will feature Danielson vs. Akiyama as well as Thunder Rosa and Serena Deeb.
On Saturday, February 24, Collision will return to its regular time slot of 8 p.m. Eastern on TNT. The show will not be aired on Saturday, February 17, due to TNT’s coverage of NBA All-Star Weekend.
