Kevin Patrick, a former WWE broadcaster, is grateful for his time in the company.
Patrick (real name Kevin Egan), was a member of the SmackDown commentating team before being released from his WWE deal last month. Patrick joined WWE in the year 2021. He served as a commentator and backstage correspondent. He was also a Raw Talk cohost and WWE After the Bell host.
Patrick, originally from Ireland worked as a soccer announcer both before and after his tenure with WWE. Patrick was hired on Thursday as the new host of MLS 360 for Apple TV.
Patrick posted on social media a statement on Friday commenting on both his new job and his time at WWE. Patrick said that he loved his three years in WWE but it was now time to move on.
I am beyond excited to announce that I will be the Lead Host for MLS 360 on Apple TV this year. Four hours of live, whip-around coverage, with three top pros, brilliant people, and a variety of games.
Unquestionably, the popularity of our beautiful sport in North America has risen. Messi plays in this country. In 2 years, we’ll be hosting the World Cup. The match attendance & atmospheres have never been better. Apple TV allows us to broadcast in over 100 countries. Let’s have a good time!

Patrick was partnered up with Corey Graves for SmackDown commentary before his release. Graves and Wade Barrett will be the new commentary teams for SmackDown, while Michael Cole and Pat McAfee will be the new commentary team for Raw.
