Hardy wrestled Sammy Guevara in a match that was taped for the Friday episode of AEW Rampage. Guevara landed on Hardy’s left leg after a shooting-star press. Hardy appeared dazed and confused after the match, according to reports.
Bryan Alvarez, our own Bryan Alvarez, reports that Hardy’s nase was broken while he was moving but he didn’t suffer a concussion.
Alvarez wrote his subscribers on X that “the word from within AEW was that Jeff Hardy sustained a broken nose but not a head injury” last night.
The episode of AEW Rampage this week will air at 7 p.m. Eastern due to TNT’s coverage for NBA All-Star Weekend. Three matches are advertised.
