Ospreay’s debut as an AEW wrestling wrestler will see him face Takeshita.
Will Ospreay has confirmed his first match with AEW.
Ospreay and Konosuke takeshita will be fighting at AEW Revolution, a match between two of Don Callis’s best talents. Callis stated on Wednesday’s Dynamite that no one wanted his group to face them, so he looked within his family to find a match in Greensboro for March 3.
Ospreay, who made several appearances with AEW in the last year, has previously been associated with Callis, including defeating Chris Jericho in AEW All In in August. In November, Ospreay was announced to be signing with AEW and appearing once he had completed his contractual appearances for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He officially left the company on February 11, 2019.
Takeshita won a singles match against Jericho on Dynamite last week.
