WWE NXT Tag Team Champions: Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker in todays Wrestling news
The duo defeated Tony D’Angelo & Stacks Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the NXT Tag Team champions were crowned.
In the main event of NXT, Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin defeated Tony D’Angelo & Stacks to win the Tag Team Titles for the first ever. Corbin laid out Stacks using the End of Days only to be taken out of ring by D’Angleo. Breakker then hit Stacks in the head with a spear, ending D’Angelo & Stacks’ reign of 92 days.
Breakker & Corbin decided to form a team just before the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic began in January. Breakker initially resisted joining Corbin’s team, but eventually agreed. The team won the tournament final earlier this month at Vengeance day, defeating Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams.
Breakker could be headed to SmackDown or Raw. After his appearance at the Royal Rumble in a storyline that is ongoing on the main roster, Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis are looking to sign Breakker for their brand.
