Satoshi Kojima was forced to cancel more NJPW events due to an injury to his MCL.
Kojima is recovering from his injury and will not be able to attend NJPW & CMLL’s Fantasticamania Tour. The tour takes place in Japan between February 12 and February 19. Kojima had been scheduled to compete in six events.
NJPW announced that Satoshi Kojima would be missing from the Fantasticamania Tour, which begins on Monday, February [12]. “We apologize for disappointing fans who were eager to see Kojima wrestle and appreciate your understanding.”
Tomoaki Honma will replace Kojima at the events from February 12-17. RyusukeTaguchi will replace Kojima on the February 18 show.
Kojima apologized to Honma and Taguchi that he had to miss the shows.
Kojima’s injury also forced him to withdraw from NJPW shows on February 8 and 9 Road to a New Beginning.
Kojima tweeted on Wednesday that he will be back in action as quickly as possible. He is expected to return for the MLW Intimidation games in New York City, on Thursday, 29th February.
Kojima defeated Alex Kane to win the MLW World Heavyweight Championship last weekend. He’s defending his title against Minoru Suzuki in Intimidation games.
