Jim Ross is reported to be in a great mood following his surgery.
Ross revealed on Monday that he had just undergone a second medical procedure, days after undergoing surgery to remove cancer from his hip.
Conrad Thompson posted on social media Tuesday that he just spoke with JR who is hopeful of getting out of the hospital soon.
Thompson wrote:
Just FaceTimed @JRsBBQ. He’s in great spirits, and thinks he will be able to go home soon. His nurses are doing a great job and his daughter is helping to run the point. He asked me for the latest news and if it’s okay, throw a beer up for him.
It is unclear what type of surgery Ross underwent on Monday.
“I had cancer surgery on my right hip this morning. All went well. “Thanks for your love and support!” Ross wrote Thursday.
On Monday, he wrote, “Another surgery hopefully successful.” Need your prayers.”
Ross has had to deal with many health issues over the years, including skin cancer in 2021. Ross’s radiation treatment led to a leg wound that has been difficult to heal for years.
