Rush says he is ready to return.
The 35-year old has not wrestled since December, when he suffered a torn left hamstring at the Continental Classic. His last match was on December 30, at the Worlds End Pay-per-View.
Rush announced on social media that he was ready to return to the ring over the weekend.
“EL TORO BLANCO Is Ready to Return,” he wrote in X.
Rush played the Continental Classic for most of it with a torn hamstring. The injury occurred during his second round robin match, which was a victory over Mark Briscoe.
“In the #AEWContinentalClassic I tore my hamstring in the second match I had,” Rush wrote shortly after the tournament’s conclusion. “I will return to the ring ready and hungry for a fight, after I recover.”
Rush won the tournament, beating Briscoe, Jay Lethal, and Swerve Strickland. He lost to Jon Moxley and Jay White. He finished fourth in Gold League.
