WWE’s Cora Jade has surgery for a torn ACL in todays Wrestling news
Jade was injured during a NXT house concert earlier this month.
Cora Jade seems to have recently had surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Jade posted on Tuesday a picture of her in a hospital cot with the caption “They say your darkest hour is before your dawn.” TTYL.”
Jade sustained a torn anterior cruciate ligament at an NXT House Show in Dade City Florida on 12 January. The commentary team on NXT Tuesday claimed that Jade was injured while wrestling Wren Sinclair. However, it was during a match against Lyra Vakyria.
After WWE confirmed Jade’s injuries, she wrote to X: “It’s only after we lose everything that we’re free to do whatever.”
Jade was forced to miss the battle royal for the number one contender on the 16th edition of NXT due to her injury. Roxanne Perez won the match, and will now face Valkyria on Vengeance Day, February 4, in Clarksville Tennessee.
