Kofi Kingston confirmed for WWE Royal Rumble match in todays Show_Type news
Updated list of participants for both Royal Rumble matches.
Eight men have confirmed their participation in the 2024 Royal Rumble match.
WWE has confirmed Kofi Kingston as one of the participants in the men’s Royal Rumble Match this Saturday (January 27, 2019). Cody Rhodes is one of the participants that have been confirmed so far. The others are CM Punk Shinsuke Nakamura Bobby Lashley Drew McIntyre Gunther and Damian Priest.
Kingston will be competing in his 16th Royal Rumble match.
Kingston will face Gunther next Monday, January 29, for the Intercontinental Title after the Royal Rumble.
The New Day is currently feuding against Imperium. The tag team match on Raw between Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci and Kingston & Xavier Woods ended in a double-countout. The teams continued to brawl until Kingston and Woods speared Kaiser & Vinci through a table and off of equipment boxes.
The Royal Rumble will be held at Tropicana field in St. Petersburg on Saturday. The event will be streamed live on Peacock/WWE Network at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
