WWE Raw to feature two title matches next week in todays Wrestling news
Next week, the Intercontinental and Tag Team championships will be on the line.
On next week’s Raw, two titles will be defended.
Gunther, the Intercontinental Champion, will defend his title against New Day’s Kofi Kingston. Damian Priest and Finn Balor of Judgment day will defend their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against DIY (Tommaso Gargano & Johnny Gargano).
The New Day has been fighting with members of Imperium over the last few weeks. Kingston & Xavier Woods fought Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci in a double-count on Monday’s Raw. The two teams brawled into the crowd and New Day speared Kaiser & Vinci through tables. Kingston then challenged Gunther to next week.
Rhea Ripley told Priest on Monday that DIY and Balor will be defending their titles. Balor interfered with Dominik Mysterio and The Miz’s match later in the show. Balor helped Mysterio to win. Balor continued to assault Miz until DIY appeared for the save.
Bronson Reed has challenged Jey Uso to next week’s Raw. He said that while Uso is chasing championship gold, he will not let anything stop him from achieving his own goals.
