The CW network will air a new reality show about the NWA. in todays Wrestling news
The CW will stream NWA Power every week.
The CW and the NWA will soon take the next step in their relationship with a rumored CW reality show that is set to become a true reality.
In a podcast appearance on Thursday, NWA announcer Joe Galli revealed the aforementioned show will air via The CW network and not The CW streaming service, where new episodes of NWA Power are set to begin airing in February.
“I’ll let you know that CW, their traditional network, will be showing our secondary show. It’s a reality show that I think a lot podcasts have already discussed. Later, he added, “that will really be interesting to help tie in people and that is more of a CW decision to try and get people to migrate to the app.”
The number of episodes and the start date were not indicated.
According to past reports, the show will be a reality television series based on Billy Corgan’s life as Smashing Pumpkins founder and owner of the NWA. It will also include a focus his recent wedding. It is not known how much the NWA will be featured on the show.
The NWA and The CW have not announced a formal relationship between the two parties. It was reported that the relationship had frayed, and NWA Power lost a spot on The CW Network due to a cocaine stunt/skit during an October pay per view.
Last year, eight older episodes of Power were made available on The CW’s streaming application. It was announced last week that there would be new episodes every week in February.
Galli also hinted that their 76th Anniversary Pay-per-View would originate from an East Coast city, versus St. Louis, Missouri where the previous few have taken place.
