Dana Brooke/Ash By Elegance signs TNA Wrestling Contract in todays Wrestling news
Brooke made her debut on screen at Hard to Kill, which aired Saturday.
TNA Wrestling has officially added another new member to their Knockouts Division. They announced on Wednesday that Ash by Elegance had signed a contract.
Ash is the former Dana Brooke, a WWE star.
Her first match outside of WWE or NXT will be her first ever. Her TV debut date and appearance on TNA Impact this Thursday have not been announced.
Ash and an unnamed male assist made their TNA debut on-screen at Hard to Kill last Saturday, sitting in the audience during the Knockouts championship match between former champion Trinity and Jordynne grace. She did not participate in the match and neither was the origin of her new nickname revealed.
Ash revealed some details about her new identity in an interview with Busted Open Radio.
“Ash by Elegance shows a different side to me, but I live my life as if it were super elegant every day. Elegant is a term that I use, but it has many different meanings. It’s elegance, classiness, beauty, it means so much to me that I will definitely bring this element into the ring to show everyone what elegance and class truly means.”
Ash (Ashley Mae Sebera), a former NXT wrestler, was released from WWE in September 2023. This marked the end of a 10-year career with WWE which began in NXT. During her decade with the main roster and NXT she only held the title 24/7.
No details were given about the length of the agreement. She did respond to criticisms about her new appearance and its similarity to AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm.
The second new member of the division was announced Saturday after her promotional debut as a Ultimate X wrestler. Former WWE NXT UK Wrestler Xia brookside signed a contract.
