Woods faced Imperium, and Ludwig Kaiser.
Xavier Woods returned to Raw and focused on Imperium.
Woods interrupted Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser in the ring as they were cutting a promo. He had been out since late November recovering from injuries. He challenged Kaiser for a match there and then. Kaiser won by DQ when Woods used the steel chair that Kaiser tried to use against him.
Kaiser attacked Woods after the match in the same manner as he had attacked Kofi Kingdon on Raw last week by placing Woods’s head on the steel stairs. Woods hit a dropkick and then threw the steel steps at Kaiser. Woods was standing in the ring when Kaiser fled and Woods dodged.
After the commercial break, Woods was being interviewed when Kaiser jumped him, forcing Jey Uso into action.
The feud between Kingston, Imperium and Raw escalated after Kingston’s dropkick injured Giovanni Vinci on Raw two weeks ago. This knocked him out of the ring. Kaiser retaliated by throwing a table at Kingston and then droppingkicking his head onto steel steps.
