The promotion announced Monday that Nemeth would wrestle Matt Cardona in GCW The Coldest Winter 2 at GCW The Coldest Winter. The event will take place on Saturday, 3 February at the Ukrainian Cultural Center of Los Angeles.
Cardona challenged Nemeth via a video that was aired on GCW No Compadre Friday.

He continued:
Let me remind Nic that I am the man who beat you to become WWE United States champion and I fully intended to beat you again.
Nemeth responded on Monday to the challenge. He said:
