X-Pac claims there’s a ‘zero’ chance he’ll participate in the WWE Royal Rumble in todays Wrestling news
Rumors have it that Sean “XPac” Waltman will be a surprise participant.
Sean “XPac Waltman” claims that he has no chance of being in the Royal Rumble 2024.
Waltman, who was rumored to be a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble, tweeted on Thursday that there is “zero chance”. Waltman said that he could still go into the ring for a few moments, but that he wouldn’t be in shape for the Rumble.
Waltman wrote the following:
I can still run at the drop of a hat for a few moments. I can still do all my kicks except the one at the corner. I can repeat that with a few training weeks. I have at least a month before I can take my shirt off publicly, so I don’t think I’ll be in Rumble.
Waltman hasn’t fought since 2022, when he faced Joey Janela in Joey Janela Spring Break 6. He wrestled that match with torn biceps.
Waltman was inducted as part of D-Generation X into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019.
The Royal Rumble 2024 will be held at Tropicana field in St. Petersburg on Saturday, 27th January. Cody Rhodes is the first wrestler confirmed for the men’s Rumble. He will be joined by CM Punk and Shinsuke Nakamura. Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre have also been confirmed.
The women’s Rumble has been announced with Bayley, Nia Jx, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair.
